Christmas Lunch 2024.

Dear Parent/Carer,

I am writing to tell you about the Christmas lunch arrangements this year. We are offering a 2-course traditional roast turkey meal with all the trimmings and a pudding for £3.30. This includes turkey, vegetables, stuffing, a sausage wrapped in bacon, roast potatoes, a small drink and a Christmas cracker! There will be a vegetarian alternative of Quorn vegan fillet. The pudding option will be either a double chocolate mousse cake and cream or raspberry mousse slice and cream.

Parents must specify which pudding their child requires in the mandatory notes section on Parent Pay when they order the meal. If this isn’t completed, your child will be given the chocolate mousse option.

If your child receives free school meals the meal deal will be fully subsidised, however parents must still log on to Parent Pay to select the menu option. Free School Meal students will not automatically be given a Christmas Dinner unless this is ordered via the correct procedure.

If your child wishes to participate, payment must be paid via Parent Pay before Friday 22^nd November at 2.00pm, we cannot accept cash. This includes students entitled to Free School Meals. Unfortunately, no late payments or orders will be accepted.

Due to the food and ingredients being pre ordered, we cannot issue refunds.

Please note that no other food will be available at lunchtime. Sandwiches, cold food, fruit, pastries and pizza will be available to purchase at break. Only those eating Christmas lunch will be allowed into the canteen at lunch time on this day. There will be an alternative room available for packed lunches.

Those students who receive free school meals and are not having the Christmas lunch can use their allowance to purchase food at break time.

Marian Campus Christmas lunch dates is Friday 13^th December.

Tollfield Campus Christmas lunch date is Wednesday 18^th December.
