Family Liaison Officer

Meet our Family Liaison Officer.

My name is Emma Firth, and I am the family liaison officer here to support children and families at Haven High.

My role in the school is to provide support, advice and information to any family that may be facing a challenging time or going through some personal difficulties. If you have any worries about your child, whether it be in relation to their education or their wellbeing, then I can be that listening ear if you need someone to listen. I am happy to meet in school or wherever works best for you.

All advice and support is confidential although concerns relating to the safeguarding of children will always be dealt with in accordance with the schools safeguarding policy.

Sometimes we all need a little bit of support with family life and there are many difficulties that are common across all types of families. Accessing support at times when you need it will benefit you and your family and can help you all feel so much better when things start to improve.

I don’t claim to have all the answers you may be seeking, but hopefully, I can support you to bring about positive change!
